Imagine that you are an emergency manager for your local

Imagine that you are an emergency manager for your local community. Identify the vulnerable socioeconomic populations in your community. Assemble (on paper) a disaster supply kit to distribute to this population. What are the essential supplies? What is the estimate of the cost for the kit? What plan would you develop for distributing the kits to the population? Would you charge fort the kit? Prepare a community bulletin advertising the kit, including a letter of proposal for kit distribution to a vulnerable population representative. How did this process illustrate how a person’s social class makes preparing for a disaster a challenge? Address how interprofessional groups could assist those at the lower end of the class hierarchy.
