Please do not attempt to work on this paper if you’re not familiar with writing case studies or unsure what to write. Also, its time sensitive, so if not finished in 24 hours, please cancel the order. Thank you in advance. The case study provided below, and extra details in the pictures uploaded. The CDC link also provided below under resources. Must use APA. Use APA to write your case study: Ms. Janes is 40-year-old white woman. who presents for admission to a residential addiction treatment facility. She reports that she has doing a minimum of three bundles of heroin intravenously daily for the past 20 years. She has resided under the boardwalk in a resort community during this time. She states that she is “fed up” with living this way. Her daily routine is getting high on Heroin. A friend of hers convinced her that she needs to be detoxified from heroin and that she has to get her life back together. She states that she last used heroin around two hours prior to admission. PLUS, Jane complains of chronic back pain for which she has been treated for the last 25 years, with hydrocodone/acetaminophen 7.5-325mg (Vicodin). Sig: one tablet by mouth every 4 hours as needed for pain. After discharge from her most recent inpatient rehabilitation hospitalization, she returns to you as her primary care provider. She continues to be followed by Rundio, and, has in place the treatment plan designed by Rundio, see page 113. (Pictures from Rundio’s book attached) You are assuming her care, including the continued prescription of Methadone, see page 119. (Pictures from book attached) Then you must decide what to do about her long-term use of Vicodin. You have essentially inherited Ms. Janes care, and will detail in a narrative format, answers to the following:

1. Focus Question and Intro: a. Methadone treatment. i. Dosing of methadone (see page 119) ii. Discuss and offer an opinion about Ms. Janes dosing of Methadone. iii. Consider pharmacokinetic (PK) and pharmacodynamic (PD) of methadone and your opinion of treatment. iv. You must consider the cumulative effect

2. Naloxone Consideration- see Rundio pages 121- 125 – CDC Guidelines for Prescribing Opioids for Chronic Pain- page 28: – Offering Naloxone to Patients When Factors That Increase Risk of Opioid-Related Harms are present – Consider the need for Naloxone – place your argument (see Rundio, page 124). – Include in your case study argument, discuss Naloxone PK and PD. (see Rundio, page 124). – Do not overlook her history if IVDA.
